Learning For Life (LFL) – Free classes for life enrichment taught by experts from the church and community. (Not for school credit)
Classes are offered in five or six-week terms on Sunday nights from 6:00-7:00 pm.
There will be a light meal, at no charge, at 5:30 pm, furnished and prepared by Concerned Women, Inc. of Grovetown.
Dates of next term: January 7, 14, 21, 28, and February 11
There will be programs and activities for children and youth of parents who are attending classes. If you are bringing children with you, please let us know their names and ages in the form below.
Some classes may be limited in number of participants. Sign up early since participants will be accepted by date of registration.
Next Term Classes:
- Cooking: If you can or can’t boil water, this is the class for you. If you’re a beginner, come get started. If you already have some cooking skills, you can learn more from the area professional chef who will be teaching this class. Class is limited to 10.
- Home Maintenance: Come learn some of the basics of maintaining a home. Lighting, plumbing, painting, and other topics of home upkeep will be addressed. No class limit.
- Quilting: Come learn to design, cut, assemble, and finish a quilt. Class is limited to 10.
- Painting: Learn to choose materials and techniques for painting artwork and leave with a project of your own. Class is limited to 8.
